About Us

Roy and Linda Holden first opened their used furniture store in a small pole building.
The business began as an avenue for their tenants to buy furniture to outfit their apartments and homes and was open only two hours in the evenings. From this small beginning, the store has grown to incorporate three buildings of furniture.

On January 1, 2009, Roy and Linda became sole-owners of the business and changed the name to Holden's Home Emporium, Inc. The Schoenberger building located at 119 S. Main Street has been totally renovated with help from the Scottville Main Street Program to become the location for our new showroom. In June, 2010, furniture was moved to 209 S. Main Street thereby creating a second showroom.

Since our early days, we have added new furniture and a complete line of new bedding to the mix. We now offer a unique blend of new and used furniture, bedding and accessories as well as antiques, vintage, and retro pieces. Our one-of-a-kind pieces are great for the serious shopper as well as the browser and the "I'll know it when I see it" shopper.

Here at Holden's Home Emporium, we do not have weekly sales or specials. From our beginning, we felt it only fair to our customers to offer lower pricing on all items at all times. This ensures that the customer that bought yesterday won't have been cheated if the same item came up on sale today.
